Estelle Castielo is one of the main protagonists of the series I Belong to House Castielo. She is the daughter of Ein Castielo and the younger sister of Karl Castielo.
Appearance[]
Estelle has wavy blonde hair that she inherited from her mother with bangs swept to the right side, pink eyes and she looks like a 5-year-old while being 11 years old due to being maltreated and underfed as a child.
Personality[]
Estelle is kind-hearted in general, with a rarely-shown streak of childishness.
History[]
Past Life[]
Estelle was once a 23-year-old Korean college student named Seo Young (서영, Seoyeong).
Childhood[]
Estelle's Mother was an abusive lady who used to lock her in a trunk and leave her out on the balcony while she met with her clients in their small apartment. Once when Estelle was locked in the trunk and put outside, it started raining and due to a hole in the trunk, water began to fill up but couldn't go past her neck due to the hole. This greatly traumatized her and caused her fear of one, Drowning, and two, Thunderstorms.
Her mother sold her to House Castielo when she was 11 years old for 20,000 gold including interest. Her abusive past slowly showed itself in front of the readers in the form of memories. The very first distinct fact to prove this was that, she wasn't given a proper name as her mother preferred calling her 'Pink eyes'.

Estelle Castielo's Lineage Details[]
The House of Castielo is considered to be the descendants of demons. Proven by their distinctly dark black hair and deep red eyes.
Estelle is a 'mix blood' which means she isn't a full demon, the reason why her eyes are pink and not red. The only ones able to have red-tinted eyes are the Castielo descendants hence there's no doubt that she's the Duke's daughter.
The Castielo house is strictly against Magicians and defines them as curious creatures who like to experiment on things they don't know much about. Hence house of Castielo is their main target of interest and known enemy. Mix bloods make them even more curious and Estelle is warned, time and time again, to avoid magicians and Ilyas (slaves of magicians).
Etymology[]
- The name Estelle is a female given name derived from the Occitan origin, and means "star."
- The surname Castielo was found in the USA in 1926.
