The Remarried Empress is an adaptation of Alphatart's Jaehon Hwanghu web novel series. It is originally a webtoon series which has been officially published in book format by Young Com (영컴) since September 23, 2020.
The series has been published digitally in English by LINE Webtoon since September 6, 2020. The volumes have been published by Yen Press under the Ize Press imprint since November 22, 2022.

Synopsis[]
Navier Ellie Trovi was an empress perfect in every way -- intelligent, courageous, and socially adept. She was kind to her subjects and devoted to her husband. Navier was perfectly content to live the rest of her days as the wise empress of the Eastern Empire. That is, until her husband brought home a mistress and demanded a divorce. “I accept this divorce… And I request an approval of my remarriage.” In a shocking twist, Navier remarries another emperor and retains her title and childhood dream as empress. But just how did everything unfold?

Navier is the protagonist of The Remarried Empress. She is the Empress of the Eastern Empire and soon-to-be former wife of Emperor Sovieshu.

Heinrey is a lover of Navier's and king of a neighboring kingdom. After agreeing to her divorce with Sovieshu, Navier asks the High Priest for permission to marry Heinrey.
Emperor Sovieshu Vict[]
Sovieshu is the Emperor of the Eastern Empire. While out hunting, he found a young girl stuck in one of his traps. Sovieshu saved her, brought her back to his palace to heal, and ultimately made her a mistress.
Lady Rashta[]
Rashta is a young girl that became stuck in one of the emperor's hunting traps. She used her charms to swoon the emperor into making her into his mistress and eventually divorcing his wife, Navier.
